Church Mission Statement
We, the people of St. Anastasia Parish, are a family
of faith called together by our common Baptism, sharing the special
grace of a Catholic community with a cultural, economic, and
ethnic diversity that nurtures a caring community and commitment to
action.
Embracing the mission of Jesus Christ by proclaiming
God's message through word, worship, witness, and service, we gather
around the Eucharist table to hear the Word of God and to share the
food of everlasting life.
We affirm the primary values of justice, freedom,
and truth receiving the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace. These
primary values are secured through a strong parish school and religious
education at all levels. The fruits of the Spirit are obtained by
ministering to each other's needs, reaching out to serve others, and
fostering ecumenical unity. We pray for the day when all will be
members of God's Kingdom.
We do things to the call of Christ to love one
another as He has loved us!
